Our kilt hire service is a totally co-ordinated service. We will work with the colours and themes that your occasion requires to ensure everyone matches.

We have 25 tartans to choose from, all kept on the premises including their own traditional tartans Spirit of Alba, Schiehallion and Rabbie Burns and more modern designs such as The Saltire and Dark Island.

We also have a wide range of jackets. We can offer advice as to which style of jacket is for which occasion.

Hire charges for a full kilt are from £60.00 for a 4 day hire usually Thursday to Monday that’s plenty of time for collection and return

We can help you through the maze of fabric weights and sewing style options. We can offer standard 8 yard kilts in heavy, medium and light weight. Kilts are hand stitched with different pleat settings; pleat to set, pleat to stripe or military fashion box pleat.

For quality and style look no further than Robert Nicol - we are "Second to None"

  Prince Charlie

The Prince Charlie is a traditional choice for weddings, dances and other formal events. Prinhce Charlie's come in black, blue and green. For a classic look team a black Printce Charlie with an 8-yard kilt, 3 button vest (waistcoat) and bow tie.

Argyle

Less formal than a Prince Charlie an Argyll jacket is the most versatile option as it can work for both formal and casual events

Tweed Crail

This has features of both Prince Charlie and Argyll styles, but it closest to the Argyll. A Tweed Crail is a great choice for casual events such as a Ceilidhs and Highland Games. It's also smart enough to wear when attending a wedding. It can be worn with or without a vest (waistcoat).
